KDR represents my initials—Kenneth Dean Recktenwall. I intentionally crafted this brand during my senior graphic design show in college. My passion for design began in my teenage years, around 15 or 16, fueled by my fascination with various art forms, including photography, painting, and drawing.

My first professional experience emerged in high school through film photography, which ignited my creativity. The joy of creating beautifully composed imagery, paired with my appreciation for well-executed typography, laid the foundation for my graphic design journey.

I began my college studies in 2018 and earned my degree in May 2023. This journey has been transformative. During my time in college, I discovered a deep love for printmaking, which further shaped my understanding and appreciation of graphic design. I learned the traditional techniques behind various media, from flyers to advertisements.

Currently, I am focusing on personal projects as I continue to hone my skills and explore new ideas for future endeavors.
